Jedes dieser Ereignisse ist in historischen B\u00fcchern festgehalten. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die \u00e4ltesten arch\u00e4ologischen Funde in Wien stammen aus der Altsteinzeit, und die \u00e4ltesten Siedlungsspuren stammen aus der Jungsteinzeit. Seitdem ist das Wiener Becken ununterbrochen besiedelt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der folgende Text bietet einen chronologischen \u00dcberblick \u00fcber die Geschichte der Stadt Wien von den ersten Besiedlungen bis zur Gegenwart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Chronologie<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>11 v. Chr. - 433 n. Chr.: Die R\u00f6mer erobern das Gebiet des heutigen \u00d6sterreichs und gr\u00fcnden eine Provinz namens Pannonia.<\/li><li>97 n. Chr.: Das keltische Dorf Vedunia wird zum Milit\u00e4rlager Vindobona.<\/li><li>150 n. Chr.: Die Holzbaracken im r\u00f6mischen Kastell werden durch Steingeb\u00e4ude ersetzt.<\/li><li>212 n. Chr.: Die Siedlung erh\u00e4lt den Status einer Gemeinde.<\/li><li>375 n. Chr.: Mit der Hunneninvasion beginnt die V\u00f6lkerwanderung.<\/li><li>5 Jahrhundert: Ein Brand zerst\u00f6rt Vindobona, die verbliebene Siedlung wird erhalten. Chr.: Die Awaren erweitern ihr Reich und besiedeln das Karpatenbecken.<\/li><li>795 n. Chr.: Der fr\u00e4nkische K\u00f6nig Karl der Gro\u00dfe erobert gro\u00dfe Teile des Awarenreiches.<\/li><li>843: Karls Nachkommen k\u00e4mpfen um das Erbe. Mit dem Vertrag von Verdun f\u00e4llt das Gebiet an Ostfranken.<\/li><li>Ab dem Jahr 900: Die Magyaren erobern Pannonien und die Umgebung von Wien.<\/li><li>955 n. Chr.: Nach der Niederlage gegen Otto I, in der Schlacht auf dem Lechfeld bei Augsburg setzen die Magyaren ihrem westlichen Vorsto\u00df ein Ende und ziehen sich ins heutige Burgenland zur\u00fcck. Die Besiedlung Wiens durch Bayern nimmt zu.<\/li><li>976 n. Chr.: Die Babenberger \u00fcbernehmen die Macht. Die Stadt wird ein wichtiger Handelsplatz.<\/li><li>1155 n. Chr.: Heinrich II. von Babenberg erkl\u00e4rt Wien zur Hauptstadt.<\/li><li>1276 n. Chr.: Br\u00e4nde zerst\u00f6ren die Herzogsburg und zwei Drittel der Stadt.<\/li><li>1278 n. Chr.: Nach dem Sieg \u00fcber Ottokar II. setzt der b\u00f6hmische K\u00f6nig Przemysl Rudolf I. aus dem Hause Habsburg als Herrscher der Stadt ein. Wien widersetzt sich lange den Habsburgern. Erst durch die Niederschlagung des Aufstands der Wiener Patrizier im Jahr 1288 kapitulierte die Stadt.<\/li><li>1365 n. Chr.: Herzog Rudolf IV. hebt Wien durch eine kluge Wirtschaftspolitik auf eine noch h\u00f6here Ebene. Die Universit\u00e4t wird gegr\u00fcndet.<\/li><li>1438 n. Chr.: Wien wird Residenzstadt des Heiligen R\u00f6mischen Reiches.<\/li><li>1485-1490 n. Chr.: Der ungarische K\u00f6nig Matthias Corvinus erobert Wien.<\/li><li>1522 n. Chr.: Wien kommt unter direkte kaiserliche Kontrolle.<\/li><li>1529 n. Chr.: Erste T\u00fcrkenbelagerung. Die Stadt h\u00e4lt den Angriffen stand.<\/li><li>1548 n. Chr.: Wien wird zu einer Festung mit elf Bastionen erweitert.<\/li><li>1558 n. Chr.: Ferdinand wird zum r\u00f6misch-deutschen Kaiser gew\u00e4hlt, und bis 1583 ist Wien die Hauptstadt des Heiligen R\u00f6mischen Reiches.<\/li><li>1618-1648 n. Chr.: Drei\u00dfigj\u00e4hriger Krieg: Mehrfache Belagerungen und Schlachten um Wien.<\/li><li>1620 n. Chr.: Ferdinand II. verlegt erneut die kaiserliche Residenz von Prag nach Wien.<\/li><li>1683 n. Chr.: Zweite T\u00fcrkenbelagerung. Nach der Epidemie beginnt ein starkes Bev\u00f6lkerungswachstum.<\/li><li>1783 n. Chr.: Modernisierung der st\u00e4dtischen Verwaltung, Einrichtung von Magistraten (Stadtverwaltungen).<\/li><li>1790 n. Chr.: Wien hat 200.000 Einwohner, Fabriken werden gegr\u00fcndet, Kanalisationen werden gebaut, Stra\u00dfen werden gereinigt, Hausnummern werden vergeben, das erste Postsystem wird eingerichtet.<\/li><li>1805 und 1809 n. Chr.: Napoleonische Besatzung.<\/li><li>1814\/15 n. Chr.: Wiener Kongress.<\/li><li>1815-1848 n. Chr.: Hauptk\u00fcnstler siedeln sich w\u00e4hrend der Biedermeierzeit in Wien an. Intensive Industrialisierung um die Stadt herum.<\/li><li>1830 n. Chr.: \u00dcberschwemmungen verursachen gro\u00dfen Schaden.<\/li><li>1837 n. Chr.: Er\u00f6ffnung der ersten Eisenbahnlinie Kaiser Ferdinands-Nordbahn.<\/li><li>1848 n. Chr.: M\u00e4rzrevolution und Wiener Oktoberrevolution.<\/li><li>1849 n. Chr.: Gemeinderecht: Die Vororte werden dem Wiener Stadtrat unterstellt. Die erste gro\u00dfe Erweiterung der Stadt.<\/li><li>1858 n. Chr.: Die Stadtmauer wird abgerissen. Bau der Ringstra\u00dfe.<\/li><li>1873 n. Chr.: Weltausstellung im Wiener Prater.<\/li><li>1890 n. Chr.: Zweite Expansion der Gro\u00dfstadt. Einwanderung von Menschen aus dem gesamten Reich geht weiter.<\/li><li>1898-1901 n. Chr.: Nach Jahren des Baus wird die Wiener Stadtbahn in Betrieb genommen.<\/li><li>1900 n. Chr.: Wien wird mit seinem reichen kulturellen und gesellschaftlichen Leben, K\u00fcnstlern, Schriftstellern und Wissenschaftlern als kosmopolitische Stadt angesehen.<\/li><li>1904 n. Chr.: Erweiterung der Stadt auf das linke Donauufer.<\/li><li>1910 n. Chr.: Wien hat 2.031.000 Einwohner.<\/li><li>1914-18 n. Chr.: Ernsthafter Versorgungskrisen w\u00e4hrend des Krieges.<\/li><li>15 M\u00e4rz 1938 n. Chr.: \"Anschluss\" an Deutschland.<\/li><li>18 April 1945 n. Chr.: Die Rote Armee erobert Wien. Im Krieg wurden \u00fcber 46.000 Geb\u00e4ude besch\u00e4digt.<\/li><li>15 Mai 1955 n. Chr.: Unterzeichnung des \u00f6sterreichischen Staatsvertrags im Belvedere-Palast.
